Really authentic flavours that remind me of home. Also filled with Chinese international students which you know is a good sign. Haven't had pig's intestine in a while as it is hard to find (a good one) in the UK — satisfied my cravings here! Prices are totally reasonable as well at about 10-12 a bowl.
I'd been recommended this place by a few people so was very excited to try it out recently and I wasn't disappointed. On entering we were greeted and asked if we had been before or already knew what we wanted. The answer to that was no so we were directed upstairs where the full menu was available (I presume downstairs prioritises quick turnaround?). The menu is extensive, containing pages in Chinese and pages in English. There was an explainer picturing the different noodle types/thickness, which was helpful when selecting the type of noodle for your dish. I had the Lanzhou beef noodles, and my wife had the garlic beef slice noodles. We both had the 'Chinese Chive' noodle which is medium thickness and well matched both dishes. Portions were generous and very good value for money with a lot of noodles and meat. The broth was surprisingly light but tasty, and it was easy to finish the entire bowl despite the size. The noodles themselves were also delicious. My wife ordered jasmine tea and the pot was very large, definitely enough for two people. Excellent value again.
My partner and I visited this cozy little restaurant yesterday, and from the moment we walked in, the warm service made me feel just like the name suggests—right at home. Each table has a QR code for ordering, which is perfect for someone like me—-minimal social interaction. I highly recommend the thick beef hand pull noodles and spicy fried chili pepper chicken—the fresh noodles have a great chew, and the chicken is crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of spicy. They also have BBQ on the menu, so maybe we’ll give that a try next time!
Super authentic Chinese cuisine with the best service. My friend wasn’t satisfied with the status of noodles at first and the waitress positively offered to exchange a new one for him. Definitely will recommend to everyone:)
Amazing food, giant portions, friendly service and super clean! If you pay by cash you get a free drink! Beef, chicken and lamb is halal.
Excellent noodle shop in Edinburg! The prices are very reasonable and the portion is huge! The waiters are so kind and patient, and service was very fast too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming here if you’re craving lanzhou noodles!!!
The fresh knife cut noodles are very well done. The location has a small downstairs and then an addition with several rooms upstairs giving the restaurant space but not much air so the back rooms are quite warm. This is a very popular spot so be prepared to wait.
Noodles were very chewy and soft! Love it. They had chicken dumpling, freshly made with freshly rolled out dough that my husband really enjoyed we chose thick wide noodles and medium size. ...
